On December 21st 2019, at 35-37 Ho Hao Hon campus, represented for Ho Chi Minh City Open University (HCMCOU), the Faculty of Sociology – Social Works – Southeast Asia Study successfully organized The 2019 South Sociology Day – Sharing The Knowledge with the presence of representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Science and Humanity – Ho Chi Minh City National University; Thu Dau Mot University; The University of Binh Duong; The University of Dalat; Van Hien University; Ton Duc Thang University; The University of Can Tho and many lecturers, students from universities. There were the social conference with the topic “Looking forward to moral rules in sociology career”; performances and culinary exchange for the students in the ceremony. Vice Prof. Vu Huu Duc – Vice Principal of HCMCOU, Dean of Sociology – Social Works – Southeast Asia Study said that the majors of Sociology are essential in the improvement of Economics – Society of any nations. The ceremony is really suitable for today’s society and the reality of educational training these days. This might be considered as the first step for the career that belongs to Sociology to prove its values.
