Over 1,000 diverse job openings across various fields for students of Ho Chi Minh City Open University at the “Job Fair 2025”

On the morning of July 20, 2025, within the University campus at 97 Vo Van Tan Street, Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City Open University (HCMCOU) organized the “Job Fair 2025” to introduce thousands of job, internship, and apprenticeship opportunities to new graduates, final-year students, and students needing career orientation, through flexible, convenient, and practical connection methods.

Attending the program were: Prof. Dr Nguyen Minh Ha – Rector of the University; representatives from 31 enterprises; representatives from Press Agencies and Ho Chi Minh City Television Station; Heads and Deputy Heads of Departments, specialists, lecturers from various Faculties and units; along with the presence of a large number of students from Ho Chi Minh City Open University.

Overview of the event

It is known that this is an annual event maintained for the past 17 years, with the companionship of nearly 800 domestic and foreign enterprises. The event has significantly contributed to supplying high-quality young human resources to society, while also helping to increase the employment rate of students after 1 year of graduation to nearly 95%. Specifically, the “Job Fair 2025” also saw the participation of enterprises founded, managed, or operated by alumni; this is an opportunity for the alumni community to join hands with the University in improving training programs, supporting learners to enhance practical knowledge, hone real-world skills to quickly adapt to current recruitment trends.

In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha – President of the University shared: “Ho Chi Minh City Open University is proud to be a public educational unit that achieved the 2nd cycle accreditation standard, with nearly 40 training programs achieving quality standards both domestically and internationally, and being highly ranked on prestigious international rankings. With the goal of training closely linked to practice, in the past time, the University has established cooperation with over 700 enterprises, building a sustainable bridge between training and recruitment, where graduates from the University are the quality human resources that businesses are looking for. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for businesses to recruit outstanding candidates and together fulfill social responsibility, participating directly in the training work, contributing to raising community capacity.”

The OU Job Fair 2025 brings over 1,000 job openings spanning many fields: economics, finance, commerce, business, foreign languages, technology engineering, etc. At the event, 31 recruiting enterprises will be directly present for interviews and consultations, in addition to the participation of 80 online recruiting enterprises via the job portal system. Some notable names include: Vietnam Airlines, Agribank, HDBank, AEON, McDonald’s, FamilyMart, Ministop, FPT, MISA, Wincommerce, CareerViet, Katinat Coffee & Tea House, Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center… promising to bring a vibrant recruitment space, effectively connecting learners and recruiters in the new era.
