On November 11^th 2019, at Ho Chi Minh City Open University, campus 35-37 Ho Hao Hon, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the signing ceremony of cooperation in Joint training program for higher education (2 years in Vietnam + 1 year in Australia) for Bachelor of Languages between Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Flinders University, Australia was organized.

Joining in the ceremony, on the side of Ho Chi Minh City Open University, there was the presence of Vice Prof. Nguyen Minh Ha (Rector of Ho Chi Minh City Open University); Dr. Van Thi Hong Loan (Dean of School of Advanced Study) and other staff; From Flinders University's representatives, there are Mr. Sebastian Raneskold (Vice President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International), Mr. Matt Schults (Director of International Recruitment), Ms. Huyen Tran (Chief Representative in Vietnam) and the participation of all the students of the international program stream.

In 2017, Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Flinders University, Australia signed a cooperation on joint training (1.5 + 2) undergraduate programs about Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Commerce. The undergraduate training programs allow students to transfer credits from Ho Chi Minh City Open University to Flinders University.

For Bachelor of Business, students can study majors such as International Business, Innovation and Enterprise, Human Resource Management and Marketing.

For Bachelor of Commerce, students can study majors about Finance, Accounting and Economics.
