Introduction

Center of Testing and Quality Assurance was founded according to Decision No 144/QĐ dated 12/08/1994 by the rector of the Ho Chi Minh City semi-public Open University with the function of consulting the rector about testing system managing, testing and education quality assurance of the university; managing testing system, testing and education quality assurance of the university.

Center of Testing and Quality control was changed to Office of Testing and Quality Assurances according to Decision No 654/QĐ-ĐHM dated 24/05/2016 of Ho Chi Minh City Open University.
Function

The office of Testing and Quality Assurances is responsible of consulting the Rector about managing testing systems, controlling and assuring quality of education at each level and type of education.

Mission

- Building programs, plans to develop controlling, testing and grading quality in modern, fair, transparent and effective direction.

- Actively research, propose and execute solutions to assure the university quality of education.

- In charge of composing documents regarding standardizing, assuring quality of education, testing and quality control. Guiding, supervising and checking the executing of those documents.

- Coordinating with related parties to perform students admission complied with regulation from Ministry of Education and Training.

- In charge of composing documents regarding standards and quality assurance of education, testing and quality assurance. Guiding, supervising and checking the executing of those documents

- Arranging exams, tests. Storing and securing exam question and grades.
