The health clinic was founded according to Decision No. 04/QĐ-ĐHM dated on 7/01/2009 with the predecessor as health care team from 2002. The clinic includes 2 specialist doctors I, 1 physician and 1 pharmacist.
- According to Decision No. 17/2007/QĐ-BGDĐT dated on 24/5/2007 by the ministry of education and training about organizing and activities of health clinics at university, institutes, colleges and vocational schools.
- According to Decision No. 04/QĐ-ĐHM dated on 7/01/2009 about founding the health clinic of Ho Chi Minh City Open University.
- Protecting health, educating and consulting regarding health care for students, teachers and staffs of the university.
1.Composing action plan, operating budget for the clinic for each academic year.
2.To manage health caring for students, teachers, officers and staffs of the university, specifically:
- - To organize annual health check and categorizing health levels.
- - Managing and reserving health files
- - Serving as primary care provider for students, staff and faculties in the University.
3.Managing insurance for students
4.To organize environmental hygiene activities, diseases preventing, reserving food safety and hygiene, preventing accidents, HIV and AIDS, drugs and other social diseases. Prohibiting smoking within the university.
5.Cordinating with related local health agencies in organizing health care activities in the university and other health care activities.
6.Composing reports about organizing health care activities at the university as assigned.
7.Cooperating with other departments to complete other assigned tasks.
