This year’s conference encourages critical exploration of the challenges and opportunities in language education, focusing on how technology, policy, and well-being intersect to shape teaching, learning, and institutional practices. We aim to foster dialogue that examines issues of power, equity, ethics, and care, while envisioning language education approaches that support both human flourishing and sustainable, socially responsible practices.
This conference is co-organised by the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Graduate School, Ho Chi Minh City Open University. OpenTESOL 2026 promises to be a valuable opportunity for professional exchange, critical reflection, and collaboration among researchers, educators, and practitioners.
