According to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Open University is honoured to be one of the 9 universities in Vietnam and among the 2,092 higher education institutions globally to be included in this ranking.
Specifically, Ho Chi Minh City Open University ranks in the Top 801+ for Business and Economics. This is a significant step forward, affirming the quality of the University’s education and research in this area and demonstrating the continuous efforts of its staff, students, and the investment in internationally accredited training programs at Ho Chi Minh City Open University.
Furthermore, according to the THE (Times Higher Education – 2024) Impact Rankings, the University is one of the 13 higher education institutions in Vietnam featured in this ranking. Additionally, the University is ranked 1201-1500 globally and 5th in Vietnam in the World University Ranking (WUR) 2025 by THE.
It is known that THE is a leading prestigious global ranking that evaluates universities based on five main criteria: Teaching, Research, Citations, International Outlook, and Knowledge Transfer.
