On the morning of April 13, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Open University solemnly launches the E- Learning Bachelor’s Program – Phase 01/2025 at Hall 202, Ho Hao Hon Campus, with a live broadcast via the Zoom platform.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of Dr. Senior Lecturer Le Xuan Truong – Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Open University; the Board of Directors of the E- Learning Center; leaders of various departments; and the new students of the first intake of 2025
The E- Learning Bachelor’s Program has been implemented since 2016 and has attracted over 21,000 enrolled students to date. It offers flexible learning opportunities, allowing learners to access knowledge anytime, anywhere. With the motto “learner-centered”, the program continuously invests in advanced technology and modern infrastructure to fully support self-study, promote independent learning and research, and enhance the effective use of information technology and the Internet throughout the learning and personal development journey.
At the ceremony, Dr. Senior Lecturer Le Xuan Truong – Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Open University – welcomed the new students of the E- learning bachelor’s and engineering programs. He emphasized that in an online learning environment, self-discipline, a positive learning attitude, and persistence are key factors that help learners enhance their professional expertise, develop themselves, and expand career opportunities in a constantly evolving society.
The opening ceremony marks a new beginning for the students’ academic journey, opening up numerous opportunities to acquire knowledge, sharpen skills, and gradually realize their career goals.
During the ceremony, Dr. Phan Thi Ngoc Thanh – Director of the E- Learning Center, announced the official student admission decision for over 1,000 new students of the online distance learning program, across various majors including: Civil Engineering Technology, Information Technology, Accounting, Law, Economic Law, Tourism, International Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Finance – Banking, English Linguistic, and Chinese Linguistic.
She also presented student ID cards to representatives of the new students of the first intake of 2025, officially marking their enrollment as students of Ho Chi Minh City Open University.
In the joyful atmosphere of a new academic year, Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy Duong – a new student of the first intake of 2025, majoring in Economic Law shared:
