The Job Fair – HCMCOU Job Fair 2025 is an annual event organised by Ho Chi Minh City Open University to provide a space for interaction and networking between recruiters and students from various majors. The Job Fair is considered a bridge connecting the university, employers, and learners, helping to foster students’ proactiveness in accessing labour market information and career orientation right from the classroom.
In 2025, in celebration of the 35th Anniversary of Ho Chi Minh City Open University’s founding (June 15th, 1990 – June 15th, 2025), the 2025 Job Fair is being organised on an expanded scale, bringing together over 100 partner enterprises. This includes 25 units recruiting directly at the university and over 80 businesses participating online through the job information portal (https://vieclam.ou.edu.vn). The event promises more than 1,000 job and internship opportunities across fields such as business, finance, banking, information technology, logistics, marketing, e-commerce, retail, F&B, construction, project management, foreign languages, and more.
This is not only an occasion for learners to seek employment positions matching their capabilities but also an opportunity to enhance “recruitment communication” skills, establish relationships, define career orientations, and gain a better understanding of the labour market. To participate effectively in the event, learners should prepare their personal CVs, wear professional attire, and be proactive in connecting and communicating with recruiters.
Participating in job events brings many practical benefits. Through these, learners gain a deeper understanding of the actual recruitment requirements from businesses and directly experience the application and interview processes to receive valuable feedback. This helps them refine their job-seeking profiles and practice essential application skills.
