Ho Chi Minh City Open University continues to affirm its commitment to educational quality by welcoming a delegation from FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) for an external international quality accreditation assessment. The assessment will take place online from April 9th to 11th, 2025, covering three undergraduate programs: International Business, Marketing, and Human Resource Management.
FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) is a prestigious non-profit organization for quality assurance and development in higher education, supported by the Swiss government. The organization was established to promote the quality and transparency of educational programs worldwide.
Welcoming the FIBAA international expert delegation, Ho Chi Minh City Open University was represented by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha, President of the University, and Dr. Senior Lecturer. Le Xuan Truong – Vice President, along with other leaders and staff from various departments.
During the session, the FIBAA expert delegation reviewed documents and interviewed faculty leaders, departments, relevant stakeholders, students, lecturers, and support staff. This was done to provide an objective and comprehensive assessment of the quality of the training programs and the university’s resources.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha, President of the University, expressed his deep gratitude to the FIBAA assessment team and the staff and lecturers of Ho Chi Minh City Open University for their support and collaboration throughout the quality assessment process of the university’s training programs. He also expressed appreciation for the insightful and constructive feedback from the experts during this crucial process.

These include standard programs, high-quality programs, international joint programs, distance learning, online learning, and part-time study programs, providing opportunities for access to higher education suitable for the capabilities, circumstances, needs, and backgrounds of all learners,” Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha added.
With thorough preparation and a strong work ethic, Ho Chi Minh City Open University presented and provided comprehensive information on its three undergraduate programs: Bachelor of International Business, Bachelor of Marketing, and Bachelor of Human Resource Management. The university received positive feedback from the expert delegation, particularly regarding the curriculum, lecturer quality, investment in facilities, and the satisfaction of students and employers.
Before this, from 2021 until now, Ho Chi Minh City Open University has carried out quality accreditation according to FIBAA (European) standards for 13 training programs, including 5 master’s programs and 8 bachelor’s programs.
