On July 22, 2025, representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Open University Journal of Science visited Can Tho University for a working session and experience exchange with the CTU Journal of Innovation and Sustainable Development. This activity aimed to strengthen collaboration and improve the quality of scientific publications at both universities.
Attending the meeting from Ho Chi Minh City Open University were Dr. Do Sa Ky – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thuan – Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Science; and Ms. Nguyen Pham Thien Kim – M.A. – Head of the Editorial Secretariat.
From Can Tho University, participants included Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Hai – Vice President, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal; Dr. Tran Thanh Dien – Deputy Editor-in-Chief, along with editorial staff members.
During the session, representatives from both universities discussed practical topics focusing on managing and developing academic journals in accordance with international standards. Their shared goal is to enhance journal quality, create reputable publication channels for lecturers and researchers, and contribute to the academic advancement of both institutions.
