The Labor Union of Ho Chi Minh City Open University (HCMCOU) organized activities to celebrate Vietnamese Women’s Day

To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20th, 1930 – October 20th, 2025), on October 20th, 2025, the Executive Committee of the Labor Union of Ho Chi Minh City Open University organized a field trip to Tan Lap Floating Village (formerly Long An Province) for the female staff, public employees and guests of the University.

A meaningful activity celebrating October 20th

The program aimed to create a joyful atmosphere, strengthen the connection between units, and at the same time express care, recognition, and honour the contributions of the University’s female staff, public employees.

During the trip, the members visited the ecological area of Tan Lap Floating Village, experienced the melaleuca forest ecosystem, swamp areas, and canal systems typical of the Dong Thap Muoi region, and participated in exchange activities, took commemorative photos, relaxed, and shared memorable moments.

Spreading the spirit of connection and appreciation

Through the program, the University’s Trade Union aimed to bring the female staff and public employees a truly meaningful and complete October 20th: both a time for rest and an opportunity for collective bonding, contributing to strengthening solidarity throughout the University.

The activity was also an occasion to recognize and honor the efforts of the female staff, public employees in contributing to the overall development of Ho Chi Minh City Open University, together building a friendly, united, and dynamic working environment.
