Through its participation, HCMCOU highlighted the importance of international cooperation across three strategic pillars: advancing online education, developing highly qualified human resources, and strengthening bilateral relations. In particular, the University aims to enhance partnerships with Japanese institutions to facilitate the exchange of advanced digital education technologies and further develop a flexible, high-quality lifelong learning ecosystem. At the same time, HCMCOU seeks to strengthen collaboration with businesses and technology corporations to develop a highly skilled workforce capable of meeting the demanding standards of Japan’s key industries, including civil engineering and construction, semiconductor technology, biotechnology, and logistics.

The conference also provided valuable opportunities for HCMCOU to explore future partnerships with Japanese universities, paving the way for expanded cooperation in education, research, and innovation.

Furthermore, academic collaboration and faculty and student exchange programs not only facilitate knowledge sharing but also serve as important bridges for people-to-people diplomacy, contributing to the longstanding friendship and Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Japan.

The active participation of Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha and the HCMCOU delegation at the conference further expanded the University’s network of high-quality international partners. It also reaffirmed HCMCOU’s proactive role in advancing knowledge creation, serving the community, and contributing to the sustainable development of a knowledge-based economy.
