On the occasion of a visit of Ho Chi Minh City Open University leaded by Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha to University of Camerino on December 6^th, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed.

Ho Chi Minh City Open University and University of Camerino, in recognition of their respective academic, research, and educational needs, have agreed to encourage the development of the exchange programs including exchange of faculty and researchers; exchange of students (undergraduate, graduate, PhD); traineeships and student visits; exchange of academic information and materials; organization of joint degree programs; organization of joint research programs; organization of joint conferences; organization of other academic exchanges agreeable to both universities.

Joint activities were also discussed to initiate the proposals for Eramus⁺ program, double degree programs and collaborative research.

Representing the University of Camerino at the signing were Rector Prof. Claudio Pettinari, Rector Delegate for Student and Staff International Mobility Prof. Renato De Leone. Ho Chi Minh City Open University was represented by Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha, Dean of Computer Science Faculty Dr. Le Xuan Truong, Vice Director of Cooperation and Research Management Nguyen Le Hoang Thuy To Quyen and Head of Medical Biotechnolgy Dr. Le Thi Truc Linh.
