MOU Signing Ceremony between Ho Chi Minh City Open University (OU) and Center of Forecasting Manpower Needs Forecasting and Labor Market Information HCMC (FALMI).
In the morning of 26th April 2018, representatives from Department of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs in Ho Chi Minh City including Mr. Dang Van Lam, Deputy Director, from FALMI including Mrs. Tran Thi Anh Dao, Director; Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Deputy Director; Mrs. Tran Le Thanh Truc, Deputy Director paid a working visit and signed the memorandum of understanding with OU.
Attending the ceremony, from OU, there were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Vice Rector; Mr. Le Thai Thuong Quan, Head of Office of Cooperation and Research Management and Mr. Ha Minh Duc, Director of Center for Short Courses.
At the meeting, leaders from OU and FALMI discussed the potential collaboration in research and education such as training, technology transfer, and information exchange.
The content of the cooperation program between OU and FALMI centers on the training needs of the labor market and manpower forecasting and planning, future employment trends. Career orientation programs and career counseling as life career integration will be also regularly held to guide the self-regulated strategy development for students.
