Now “Startup” is a popular keyword for young people, and especially it is a hot topic for students who are dreaming of starting a business. So what do you need to do to turn your ideas into a reality when you don’t have enough experiences? To be able to stimulate the startup dream being cherished.  Understanding this matter, Ho Chi Minh City Open University cooperated with the Southern National Startup Support and Advisory Council, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to organize a training class named “Startup” at 7:00 on 14 June 2019 at 97 Vo Van Tan

The “Startup” training class lasts for 3 days, from the 14^th to 16^th day of June, with the attendance of lots of students coming from different departments of the university. The program’s main lecturers are top-of-the-line experts, entrepreneurs coming from the Southern National Startup Support and Advisory Council with the aim to provide business knowledge for students dreaming of starting a business.

Accurate perception of business, forming business ideas, valuable lessons drawn from the actual experiences of entrepreneurs are what to be shared in the Program. For students who have formed business ideas clearly, the class will help them have more solid orientations to develop their ideas in a long-term and effective manner, and this is also an opportunity for you to interact directly with speakers who have been CEOs of many enterprises so that your questions about startup will be answered. Besides, you will have a chance to experience business product simulation exercises as well as build business models appropriate with the current market. At the end of the course, students will receive a certificate of participation with good results.

Since its establishment, Ho Chi Minh City Open University has been carrying out lots of activities to make Startup become a main topic of the university in the future and the “Startup” class become one of the activities organized by Ho Chi Minh City Open University, in order to promote and support the entrepreneurial spirit among students more and more.
