In attempt to share startup know-hows and experiences, while initiating a meaningful contest for young people, students, groups, individuals and businesses who kick off their business career in the Southern region in general and Ho Chi Minh City Open University in particular, the Business Startup Support Centre (BSSC) joins hands with Ho Chi Minh City Open University to hold a conference launching Vietnam Startup Wheel 2019 competition under the theme “From Zero to Hero”.

The conference took place at the amphitheatre 97 Vo Van Tan, Ward 6, District 3, on May 19, 2019. Attending the conference, there were the participation of 2 hot speakers who have recently received wide media coverage: Ms. Truong Ly Hoang Phi - CEO  of VinTech City - Vice Chairman of the YBA (Young Business People Association) of Ho Chi Minh City, founder and strategic advisor of the Business Startup Support Centre (BSSC) and Mr. Le Dang Khoa - Chairman of Le Group Venture. Ms. To Thi Kim Hong – Vice Dean of Special Training Faculty and more than 350 students also attended.

The conference provided students with a generosity of practical knowledge about startup. Speakers also shared their viewpoints and orienting experiences related to the steps of startup. A “zero” can become a “hero”, or vice versa.

The program was such a useful event to develop and put on show a topic of great concern to the society in general and young people in particular. The youth are thriving and gradually “mastering” the market in their own way.

Ho Chi Minh City Open University has been doing well in the role as a bridge for students to gain information and improve themselves thoroughly.
