In the strategy of sustainable education development, the role of cohesion between the school and organizations and enterprises is always a top concern of the University to serve the purpose of application-oriented training to provide students with practical experiences. In order to establish a good cooperative relationship, along with the goal of developing and exploiting the strengths of the parties, on June 4, 2019, HCMCOU held a student support cooperation signing ceremony between HCMCOU and enterprises.

On the side of the enterprises’ representative, HCMCOU was honored to welcome Mr. Le Ba Khiem (Chairman of the Board of Directors  of Tan Thanh Dat Consulting JSC), Mr. Vo Ngoc Ngai (Director of il7 Company Limited), Mrs. Phung Thi Hong Tham (Chairman of the Board of Directors of ZTA JSC), Mrs. Pham Thi Hoang Oanh (Director of INDOCHINE VINA), Mr. Pham Phi Hung (Director of Felica JSC), Mr. Vo Chi Anh (Director of BCI Asia Company), Mrs. Hoang Thi Mai Hong (Manager of Human Resources Department of Tropical Fruit Vegetable Co., Ltd.), Mr. Linh Vu (Manager of Export Department of Tropical Fruit and Vegetable Co., Ltd.), Mr. Quang Khanh (Director of Nam Trung JSC), Mrs. Van Thi Kim Huong (HR & Admin Director of Thuan Phong Express Co., Ltd.), Mr. Mai Huu Tai (General Director of Di Cho Biet JSC). On the side of  Ho Chi Minh City Open University, there was the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan (Vice Rector), Assoc. Prof., PhD.  Trinh Thuy Anh (Dean of Business Administration Faculty), Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dieu Linh (Deputy Head of Student Affairs Department) together with lecturers and officials, staff working at the university.

The signing ceremony was held successfully with cooperation plans bringing certain benefits to the parties. Accordingly, enterprises’ representatives facilitate and provide maximum support to University’s students through various activities such as thematic reports on business and management practice, providing internship opportunities and visit for practice opportunities for students, guide students to intern, practice, guide students to implement scientific research topics and projects. In addition, in the upcoming time, Ho Chi Minh City Open University will become a place providing efficient and professional human resources for enterprises. This is considered as a good opportunity for enterprises to make actual evaluation on the university’s training quality and is an opportunity for the University’s Leadership Board to have more opportunities to contact as well as better understand the needs of enterprises in each field, from which, they can give the most appropriate orientations in teaching in the upcoming time.
