On the morning of January 10th, 2020, at campus Vo Van Tan ( 97 Vo Van Tan), Department of Advanced Training of Open University of HCMC cooperated with Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences ( VASS) held successfully the scientific conference called: “ Impact factors of technology advancement and innovation in Vietnam and developing counties in the context of industrial revolution 4.0” - sponsored by NAFOSTED ( National Foundation for Science and Technology Development).
In the conference, there was the presence of Ph.D. Van Thi Hong Loan ( head of the Advanced Training Department) with lecturers and students from the Open University of HCMC. Besides, there was the presence Ph.D. Le Quang Thanh from Institute for European Studies and Flinders University ( Australia), Ph.D. Pham Song Hanh from Sheffield Halam University ( United Kingdom) and students, lecturers from Academy of Policy and Development, Foreign Trade University (campus 2 ), University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
The conference aimed at discussing the impact factors that have influences on technology advancement and innovation in developing countries. Specifically, focusing on analyzing the role of human resources and labor mobility in the context of Economic integration has experienced drastic growth in local regions and around the world. This is an opportunity for national and foreign researchers to get together, also exchange research experiences and international publications to lecturers and students. Alongside, useful ideas contribution from participants on data gathering methods, analysis and conclusions for the study have rendered the exhilarating atmosphere.
Besides, the conference is not only favorable to academic exchanges with many useful studies but also wield enormous contribution to the further promotion of scientific cooperation activities of Open University of HCMC with many national and international universities, research institutes, laid the solid foundation for future cooperation such as transnational education, culture exchange, and so on.
