On June 12, 2020, at the 35-37 campus, Ho Hao Hon took place the Social Science Conference in 2020 with the theme "Culture and urban civilization in southeast Asian countries in the context of the revolution 4.0”. The seminar was organized by the Center for Young Science and Technology Development, Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Open University.
This is an essential activity to introduce and update the latest research papers from scientists, thereby creating opportunities for young knowledge to have more opportunities to exchange views and academic discussions on the field. Social science. The workshop received the participation of 70 scientific reports from 105 authors from 44 units with two main sessions:
Plenary session: consists of 3 presentations, reports on issues such as civilization and urban ecology in Ho Chi Minh City, the future of industry 4.0 will affect culture and urban civilization. during the Covid-19 pandemic, developing Vietnamese culinary culture and tourism in the context of industry 4.0.
The subcommittee sessions: are divided into 3 subcommittees (Culture, Urban Civilization, Tourism) in parallel report and 1 subcommittee reporting through Poster format. Each subcommittee consists of 4 reports before the council on topics such as conservation of urban heritage, urban civilization from law enforcement of pedestrians and bicycle use in circulation, tissue construction of historical-cultural dictionary, particularly the subcommittee for reporting posters has up to 24 reports.
In addition, the workshop also contributed many creative ideas, in-depth research. The workshop has been a great success and is highly appreciated by experts and industry delegates for both the breadth and depth of each topic.
