On October 28, 2020, Ho Chi Minh City Open University (HCMCOU) and Bond University Gold Coast, Australia (Bond) agreed to sign an articulation agreement for the Degree programs including Bachelor of Business (Management Major), Bachelor of Business (Tourism Management Major) and Bachelor of Commerce (Big Data Major). Upon this agreement, HCMCOU will recruit and admit students to the Bond HCMCOU agreed programs, which will be conducted at HCMCOU within 1.5 years; Bond will then deliver Bachelor programs and grant the degrees to students who successfully complete the programs from one to one and a half year in Australia. These joint programs help students to save living fees and save time in terms of studying bachelor programs—only studying from 2,5 years to 3 years to get Australian bachelor degrees. Bond is ranked as 24th in the best Australian universities and got an accredition cetificate by Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA), Australian Government.
