In the morning of April 3^rd 2021, The Opening Ceremony of Online Bachelor program- Course 01/2021 was held at the campus of 35-37 Ho Hao Hon, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The Online Bachelor Program was highly appreciated from learners and the society. Especially, the signing ceremony between Ho Chi Minh City Open University (HCMCOU) and VNPT Ho Chi Minh City - Business Center was also organized in the ceremony.

At the ceremony, HCMCOU respectfully welcomed representatives from Ho Chi Minh City Confederation of Labor, Mr. Pham Chi Tam - Vice President, Ms. Huynh Thi Ngoc Lien - Member - Head of Women’s Union and Ms. Vo Thi Minh Phuong - Deputy Head of the Women’s Union.

From VNPT Ho Chi Minh City - Business Center representatives, honor in the presence of Ms. Trinh Thi Thu Thao - Director, Mr. Do Duc Trung - Vice Director, Mr. Do Quang Trang - Director of Sale Department of Gia Dinh area.

From the HCMCOU, we honorly welcomed Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha - The President, Dr. Le Nguyen Quoc Khang – Vice President, Ms. Ho Minh Nhien – Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Communist Youth Union, Director of E-Learning Center along with representatives who are leaders of Faculties, Departments, Offices, along with participation of freshmen - Course 1/2021.

The Opening Ceremony of Online Bachelor program- Course 01/2021 welcomed 600 freshmen from eLearning distance program in 10 different disciplines: Marketing, English Language, Business Administration, International Business, Human Resource Management, Laws, Economics Laws, Accounting, Auditing and Finance-Banking.

With advantages of convenience, flexibility go hand in hand with high quality, the Online Bachelor Training Program has been receiving high praise from learners as well as the society. Mr. Pham Chi Tam – Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City General Confederation of Labor highly appreciated the value that the program has brought to the community. He expected that the training program will be constantly improved and developed in order to strengthen the human resource base and promote lifelong learning society in Viet Nam. At the same time, he sent his deepest thanks to HCMCOU for granting 20 scholarships which value up to 1.2 billion VND to Union members.

In the ceremony, the cooperation agreement was signed between Ho Chi Minh city Open University and Ho Chi Minh City VNPT Business Center – Branch of Telecommunication Service Corporation Business Center - Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group related to the development of e-learning digital infrastructure and platforms.

The Opening Ceremony of first course in 2021 has taken place successfully, continuously develops a new phase for Online Bachelor’s Degree Programs.
