From 25 April to 29 April 2021, Ho Chi Minh City Open University has completed the official contents for external assessment from delegation of Center for Education Quality Inspection - Da Nang University.

According, at the opening ceremony on 26 April 2021, MSc. Huynh Ngoc Thanh - representative of the delegation announced the decision to form the external assessment delegation for the bachelor level training program of HCMC Open University, in particular of four programs: Information Management System, Economics Law, Chinese Language and Sociology.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha – The president of HCMC Open University sent his thanks to the delegation, Center for Education Quality Inspection - Da Nang University.

After three working days at the campuses of Ho Chi Minh city Open University, on the morning of 29 April 2021, at the closing ceremony, representative of the external assessment delegation made important comments on quality assurance and quality inspection activities; planning/ promoting the curriculum and PR, communication issues, supporting the university to improve training quality standards.

At the closing ceremony, Dr. Duong Mong Ha - Leader of the external assessment delegation and Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha - The university president signed the official assessment completion report.

Throughout this external assessment activity, Ho Chi Minh City Open University listened and noted the useful information and opinions from the Center for Education Quality Inspection – Da Nang University. All of leaders, lecturers, officials of HCMC Open University asserted the importance of external assessment and emphasized the main purpose of Education Quality Inspection in aims of ensuring to achieve certain standards in training and constantly improving the quality of training, to meet the requirements of human resource and ensuring the learners’ interests. In addition, the university leader board sent thanks to alumni, enterprises in supporting of the assessment of training programs, human resource quality.
