On the morning of July 9th, at the 97 Võ Văn Tần campus, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, in collaboration with various businesses, organized the Job Fair Day 2023. The event is part of the OU Job Fair 2023 series, and prior to this, the University held a workshop titled "Overcoming Psychological Barriers in the Job Search Process" on July 8th, 2023.

In the Job Fair Day, from Ho Chi Minh City Open University, there were Dr. Lê Nguyễn Quốc Khang – Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Open University, leaders from various faculties and departments, along with 25 representatives from businesses and students interested in the event.

Delivering the opening remarks, Dr. Lê Nguyễn Quốc Khang mentioned that the University has organized 23 Job Fairs over the past 15 years and has had the support of over 700 businesses. He emphasized the significance of the University's ties with the business community and highlighted the diverse collaborations with companies to align career orientations with the University's vision and mission in practical training. This approach enables students to have opportunities for hands-on experience while still pursuing their university education. Lastly, Dr. Khang expressed gratitude to the businesses for their continuous support and hoped to maintain sustainable relationships for mutual development.

Besides career counseling and guidance activities, the Job Fair Day also featured various lively events such as games at the business booths and lucky draws.

Amidst a joyous and enthusiastic atmosphere, student Trần Tiến Dũng from the Information Technology Department shared, "This is an exciting activity, providing opportunities to find part-time jobs and chances to win attractive prizes from the program."

The Job Fair is an annual activity organized by the University to help students explore and grasp career opportunities. Additionally, it serves as a platform for businesses to find suitable candidates for their various fields. The event acts as a bridge between the business community and the University, aiming to build long-term collaborative relationships.
