The tree planting event commenced with a ceremony at 6:30 AM, during which 600 saplings, 10 banyan trees, and 20 Areca catechu trees were distributed to six different neighborhoods in Ward 1, District 3.
The residents, together with the students, enthusiastically planted trees.

"Trash Exchange for Gifts" activity
The "Trash Exchange for Gifts" activity was carried out to spread the message of green living and environmental protection among the community. It aimed to inspire people to learn about and implement sustainable environmental solutions and eco-friendly consumption habits.
During this activity, people brought recyclable and hazardous waste to exchange for environmentally friendly and daily household items. The waste was converted into points ranging from 1 to 7. Accumulating enough points allowed residents to exchange them for corresponding gifts such as cloth bags, sugar, salt, and condensed milk.
The participants happily exchanged their waste for meaningful gifts.
