On the morning of May 27, 2023, the tree planting activity and talk show with the theme "Green Corner to Nourish our Happiness" attracted a large number of students from Ho Chi Minh City Open University, who participated at the community library, located at the campus at 97 Vo Van Tan.
The program was attended by Dr. Le Thai Thuong Quan - Head of Cooperation and Scientific Management Department, Dr. Nguyen Thi Le My - Academic staff in charge of Public Relations and Community Service, from the Student Affairs and Communication Department. Also present were Ms. Nguyen Huy Minh Chau - Academic staff in charge of International Student Support, Ms. Nguyen Bach Thien Huong - Representative of Open Book Club, and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Chien - President of OU Green Plus Club, along with a large number of students from Ho Chi Minh City Open University who are concerned about environmental issues.
The tree planting activity at the Community Library with the theme "Green Corner to Nourish our Happiness" was organized by the Student Affairs and Communication Department in collaboration with OU Green Plus Club. This special event allowed students to come together to create a green space and contribute to spreading the values of sustainable green environment development to the community.

Following the tree planting activity, the students continued to participate in an English talk show, fostering exchange between international and Vietnamese students, with the theme "Green Corner to Nourish our Happiness." During the talk show, they conveyed messages, emotions, and commitments to Mother Nature through the form of "Sending Cloud Messages." with the aim to raise awareness and take action together to protect the environment.

Throughout the program, the students expressed their joy, enthusiasm, and pride in planting the green trees with their own hands. The tree planting activity not only provided an opportunity for international and Vietnamese students to interact and create a green learning and living space together but also contributed to raising awareness and spreading the value of environmental protection actions in each individual.
