On the morning of February 1st, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City Open University had the honor of welcoming the Consulate General of Cambodia for a visit and Vietnamese Tet greetings at 97 Vo Van Tan campus, District 3.

On behalf of the Consulate General of Cambodia in HCMC, there were Mr. Chan Sorykan - Consul General, along with consulate officials: Mr. Kith Sothearith, Mr. Kco Bunrith, and Mr. Sann Vantha. Representing Ho Chi Minh City Open University were Dr. Le Xuan Truong - Vice President, Mr. Ho Thanh Son - Deputy Head of Student Affairs and Communications Department, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dieu Linh - Deputy Head of Student Affairs and Communications Department, along with faculty members and academic staff from the University.

During the meeting, Dr. Le Xuan Truong - Vice President of the University, expressed pride in welcoming the delegation from the Cambodian Consulate General for a visit and Lunar New Year wishes. He emphasized the importance of cooperation in educational activities, cultural exchanges, and fostering friendly relations between the University and educational institutions in Cambodia. Dr. Le Xuan Truong also shared information about the academic performance of Cambodian students at the University.
