Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha - President of Ho Chi Minh City Open University said: “Ho Chi Minh City Open University Journal of Science was established in 2006, has been constantly developing in terms of quantity and quality. From a multidisciplinary journal published only in print - quarterly, in 01 Vietnamese language, so far Ho Chi Minh City Open University Journal of Science has 7 specialized journals, published online and printed in 02 languages (Vietnamese and English). Accordingly, the Journal publishes 28 issues/year, of which 12 issues are published in English."

In order to implement the University's strategic development goal in scientific research activities, which is: "To enhance the role and position of the University's scientific journal according to international standards (WOS, SCOPUS, ESCI, ACI) towards serving the community and contributing to the prestige of the University", on the afternoon of April 23, 2024, at Hall 202, Campus 35-37 Ho Hao Hon, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City Open University held the Announcement Ceremony of the Specialized Journal Ho Chi Minh City Open University Journal Of Science – Advances In Computational Structures (ACS)
