Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as Festival of Reunion, is one of the biggest and meaningful holidays in Vietnam, held on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month every year. Mid-Autumn Festival is not only an opportunity to honor a traditional Vietnamese culture, but also an opportunity for families to reunite and enjoy happy moments together. In addition, Mid-Autumn Festival is also known as a harvest season, marking this a season to celebrate the fruits of labor. And Mid-Autumn Festival also shows people's attachment to nature and concern for the values of family and community.
Program overview
Attending the event, there were Mr. Bun Khunny - Consul General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City, and Dr. Le Nguyen Quoc Khang - Vice President of the University, along with numerous faculty, staff, and International students, Vietnamese students.

Coming to the festival, international students and Vietnamese students enjoy musical performances and humorous play about the legend of Uncle Cuội and Miss Hằng, the Lion dance and together make unique moon cakes, decorated brilliant lantern decoration. The event has created a warm and bustling space where students can connect and feel the welcome and spread of Vietnamese culture from the University.

Chhin Sea from Cambodia shared: "Making moon cakes with my friends has helped to ease the nostalgia of being away from home on holidays like this. And more specifically, decorating with colorful lanterns gave us the feeling of being immersed in the beauty of traditional Vietnamese culture."

Finally, all students held lanterns in their hands and walked around together singing the Mid-Autumn Festival song.
