On November 9th, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City Open University was honored at the Young Lecturers’ Science and Technology Awards for higher education institutions. This prestigious award, organized by the Ministry of Education and Training every three years, recognizes and encourages innovative research projects with high practical value conducted by young lecturers under the age of 35.
This year’s awards attracted 47 research projects from 29 universities nationwide, with nearly 100 scientific and technology transfer products published. The submitted works underwent a rigorous evaluation process by 6 preliminary councils across various scientific disciplines, creating a dynamic and meaningful academic platform for young lecturers.
The award ceremony took place at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, with representatives from the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technological Creations - (VIFOTEC), and Ho Chi Minh City Open University (the institution responsible for receiving applications for the Young Lecturer Science and Technology Awards). Representing the university was Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha - president.
At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, congratulated the lecturers who received awards this year. Therein, HCMC Open University achieved impressive accomplishments, inclduing:
