Furthermore, these days encourage book publishing, protect authors' rights, and affirm the crucial role of books in the spiritual lives of individuals.

This is an opportunity for learners to deeply recognize the significance of books in expanding knowledge, developing thinking skills, nurturing the soul, and perfecting personal character. Joining in this atmosphere, Ho Chi Minh City Open University has organized a series of vibrant and meaningful activities, attracting the enthusiastic participation of faculty, staff, Vietnamese students, and international learners.

The "Ambassador for Reading Culture 2025" competition, a beneficial platform, provides an opportunity for students to showcase their love for books, creativity, and spread their passion for reading to the community. The competition not only helps students enhance their knowledge and skills but also contributes to building a healthy reading culture environment.

HCMCOU's Library has organized the display of a diverse and rich collection of books across various fields, meeting the reading needs of faculty, staff, and students. This is an opportunity for everyone to discover good and beneficial books and find inspiration from their pages. In addition, the university also showcases learning materials compiled by its own faculty, aiming to introduce the school's research and teaching achievements to the community, affirming the quality of training and research at Ho Chi Minh City Open University.

In particular, the University has collaborated with Fahasa Bookstore to organize the display and sale of books with many attractive discounts, creating favorable conditions for faculty, staff, and students to purchase books at affordable prices. Finally, the book and learning material donation and exchange program for all university students has been successfully held, creating conditions for students to share good and beneficial books and save on learning costs. 

Furthermore, throughout their study period at the University, international learners also spread their passion for reading through book donation activities and jointly building community libraries in local areas.
