The development of banking system, financial intermediaries and securities companies have created vivid prospects for the Vietnamese economy. Recruiting high-caliber employees is essential to employers of the financial sector. The School of Banking, Finance and Accounting was established in 2005. After splitting the Accounting discipline, it was named School of Banking and Finance. The distinct mission of the school is providing high-quality human resources with sound knowledge of social economics and the major to meet the demand of employers in the field. Until now, there have been 1600 students enrolling in the school.

School of Banking and Finance is offering two majors: Finance and Banking. The school is providing flexible learning methods for students such as: full-time undergraduate courses, second-degree courses, distance learning courses and part-time courses. Our programs’ objectives are to employ modern teaching methods to give prominence to the quality of education, up-to-day syllabus, and having the interaction between lecturers and students.

Generally, after recruiting fresh graduate staff, employers need to re-train professional skills that were not contained in the curriculum. However, students at School of Banking and Finance will be offered these training courses at the third and fourth academic years which would help the students do the assigned jobs at once. These courses are using simulation networks that are currently running at Sacombank and FPT Securities Company. This is a good advantage for the students of the school for their applications

School of Banking and Finance also organizes events and seminars regularly which are presented by businessmen, alumni from the school, and experts in the field. These are chances for students to know more about realistic working environments.

The school also hosts many other activities such as sport competitions, singing contests as well as volunteering activities, etc. These will support to build a complete maturity in students’ physical and mental health. The school has been leading the university’s student activities for many years.
