Sociology
    Graduates of Sociology Training may find job opportunities in the following fields:
  • Government Administration Agencies: as managers, experts in the People’s Committees at all levels.
  • Mass Organizations such as Women’s Union, Youth’s Union, the Red Cross Society, etc.
  • Counseling experts on social issues (such as marriage and the family, children, etc.)
  • Business enterprises: as human resource manager, experts on labours’relations, mediating work disputes, public relations, and market research, etc.
  • Communication activities: as advertisers, event organizers, news’ reporters for newspapers, television or radio broadcasting services, etc.
  • Non-governmental organizations working on urban planning, environmental protection, social work, community development work or development programs/ projects (such as poverty reduction, capacity building for women, improving the life quality of life...), or providing the social services, etc.
  • Researching and teaching at different High Schools, Colleges, Universities and Research Institutes.
  
Social Work
    Graduates of Social Work Training may find job opportunities in the following fields:
  • Social institutions, social organizations, community development programs related to the following specific areas:
  • Social services provision for children, youth and families.
  • Social work, counseling services in schools, hospitals, industrial zones; or being in charge of professional social work activities in the People's Committees of all levels, or in the social-political mass organizations such as the Women's Union, the Youth Union, the Red Cross Society; or working for the national and international institutions and social organizations.
  • Project management, project work on community development, social development, participation in poverty reduction projects, capacity building for women, career orientation and job creation for youth, participating in the construction of the saving credit programs.
  • Research training and implementation on social work and other social issues, social policy, social security, environmental protection, community development, educational and training issues.
  • Researching and teaching in the High Schools, Colleges, Universities and research institutes
  
Southeast Asian Studies
    Graduates of Southeast Asian Studies may find job opportunities in the following fields:
  • Government Administration Agencies such as City’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Museum of the cities, District’s Department of Culture and Communications in the district, the Ethnics’ Committees, or District People's Committee, Tourist companies as experts, etc.
  • Diplomatic organizations, non-governmental organizations that have cooperation and relations with the countries of Southeast Asia.
  • Business Enterprises: as staff of Administrative Office, Public Relations Division, or Foreign Relations...for Business of other Southeast Asian countries in Vietnam and Vietnamese Business in other Southeast Asian countries.
  • Communication activities: as advertisers, event organizers, reporters or editors for cultural, tourist, news or documentary programs of newspapers, television or radio broadcasting services...
