In the process of modernization and integration, besides improving student’s knowledge by books and theory, Ho Chi Minh City Open University have been also interested in some cultural exchanging activities for students. Therefore, on January 24^th 2019, OU students had a chance to meet UM students.

The University of Malaya is one of the most long-standing public university in Kuala Lumper, Malaysia. Famous for having the top teaching quality in Asia and reaching achievements in many years, the University of Malaya has been training a great number of students in many majors, especially international students from many countries such as Korea, China, India, Taiwan,…

The program attracted many student’s attention. Students of both schools made friends, together they share a lot of cultural features in two countries. Moreover, OU students were also received many souvenirs and watched some dance performance from UM students.

The cultural exchange meeting not only brought a chance for OU students to improve their using languages skills (especially English) but also help them to know more about Malaysian cultures, so that they can widen their knowledge and be more confident during the era of international integration in the near future.
