On the morning of November 27, 2019, at 97 Vo Van Tan campus of HCMC Open University, the Special Training Department held a specialized report: “Effective method of teaching and learning English to prepare for future jobs" for English Language students ( High-Quality Program of Department). The main speaker of the report was Dr.Mai Ngo is from Flinders University (Australia).

Opening the report, Dr. Mai Ngo shares five skills needed to prepare for

Future work such as critical thinking, teamwork, creativity, communication skills. Moreover, Dr. Mai Ngo also emphasized the importance of a willingness to learn and a work attitude. She also mentioned the eight effective learning habits, and point out the difference between Job and career.

After the sharing of Dr. Mai Ngo about practical experiences at work,

 learning and working methods, it helped students understand

more about the skills that need to be trained in the result of better oriented learning in the future.

The thematic report is one of the contents specially trained by the Faculty of Training Ho Chi Minh City Open University to broaden practical knowledge for students who are studying at school.
