On March 26, 2020, Ho Chi Minh City Open University held the Signing Ceremony for Cooperation in Training and Research with Italy L'Aquila University and the Signing of Collaboration on developing Associate Program and exchanging students, lecturers with Taiwan Minghsin University of Science and Technology.

According to the contract, with Italy L'Aquila University, the two parties signed a cooperation agreement on training and researching based on the available resources of both universities. The content of the contract includes the exchange of lecturers, researchers, the participation of students in teaching, researching, learning exchanging publications, scientific documents, researching information, developing the projects, cooperative researching programs, and organizing conferences. After this cooperative contract, two parties will cooperate with the implementation of collaborative programs with the spirit to perform the contract.

On the same day, the signing ceremony of Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Taiwan Minghsin University of Science and Technology was held with the desire to maintain and expand the training cooperation of the two universities. Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Taiwan Minghsin University of Science and Technology have the object of developing affiliate programs and exchanges of two universities.  Besides that, two universities also considered promoting the research and teaching activities; seminar participation, conferences, thematic reports and exchanging publications and academic documents.

At the ceremony, the parties expressed their pleasure in this cooperative relationship and combined to build and develop the sustainable agreements signed based on sharing and promoting the potentials of two parties.
