On July 7^th, 2020, Ho Chi Minh City Open University had the opportunity to visit My Lan as well as Ryan Group – led by Mr. Do Sa Ky (Party Committee secretary, School Board’s Chairman), Assoc.Prof.Ph.D. Nguyen Minh Ha (School Principle) with all lectures and staff attended.

The groups came to see ink, packaging factories, and smart fertilizer system which was applied IoT in agricultural producing and building smart cities such as water monitoring buoy through mobile phone.

Also, both parties made a plan for developing cooperation or partnerships aiming to expand job opportunities for students of biotechnology and information technology within various potential fields as microbial technology in agriculture or fisheries, plant-entomology protections, water treatment technologies, IT (database, software or AI).

Under a dynamic and modern working environment, students will be trained in professional working style, improve their skills, confidence, and discipline in work or life as well as quickly capture better career opportunities in the future.” shared Chairman of My Lan and Ryan Group. Particularly, senior students can do a graduate project at the group or follow a certain group’s project.

Connecting to the active cooperation with a lot of businesses, Ho Chi Minh City Open University has gradually given students more opportunities to learn and practice through their real experiences.
