The ceremony to announce the appointment decision for vice-rectors of Ho Chi Minh City Open University
On the morning of August 17, 2020, Ho Chi Minh City Open University announced the appointment decision for Vice-Rectors in the term of 2019 - 2024.
The ceremony was hold in the presence of Mrs NGUYEN Thi La - member of The Standing Committee, Head of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University and College Division; Mr. DO Sa Ky - Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the University Council; Mr. NGUYEN Minh Ha - Rector and all of the key officials of Ho Chi Minh City Open University.
Pursuant to the Plan No. 1232 / KH-DHM dated on July 17, 2020 of Ho Chi Minh City Open University on the implementation of appointing process Vice-Rectors of Ho Chi Minh City Open University Minh for the term of 2019 - 2024; Pursuant to the University Council's decision No. 24/ NQ-HDT dated on August 1st, 2020 to approve the appointed personnel plan to the position of Vice Rectors for 2019-2024 term, two personnel who are appointed to be Vice-Rectors of Ho Chi Minh city Open University, are Ph.D. LE Xuan Truong, Head of Information Technology Faculty, and Ph.D. LE Nguyen Quoc Khang, Director of Distance Training Center.
Two Vice Rectors have devoted a lot of working years at Ho Chi Minh City Open University and achieved many outstanding awards.
For PhD. LE, Xuan Truong:
Merit certificate from Minister of MOET Vietnam in 2007, 2015.
· Merit certificate “creative labor in the patriotic emulation movement in 2009”
· Merit certificate “outstanding achievement in the union activities for school year 2008-2009”
· Merit certificate from President of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee in 2010
· Medal for Education in 2011
· Merit certificate “Award for Excellent Achievement for union activities, building up strong union”
· Merit certificate from President of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee in 2020.
For PhD. LE, Nguyen Quoc Khang
· Merit certificate from President of Khanh Hoa province People’s Committee in 2020
· Merit certificate from Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation in 2019
At the ceremony, Mr. DO, Sa Ky- Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the University Council awarded the appointment decision to two Vice-Rectors of Ho Chi Minh City Open University for the term of 2019-2024.
On behalf of leaders, Rector Mr. NGUYEN, Minh Ha gave congratulation to two new Vice-Rectors. Also, he expressed his belief and hope that the Vice Rectors will continue promote and complete the tasks assigned by the University.
In the happiness and excitement, two new Vice Rectors expressed their gratitude to the leaders, all staffs, and officials who delivered the task in trust. They affirmed to devote their strength and intelligence together with Board of Leaders, and all officials for the implementation of Ho Chi Minh City Open University’s developing strategy considerably.
