Providing opportunities for full- time students to experience a practical learning environment at enterprises and to update factual knowledge in order to get an up-close look of the future workforce is a consistent activity that are organized by Ho Chi Minh City Open University so far.

On April 2^nd 2021, Finance-Banking Faculty of HCMCOU held a field trip to provide full- time students an experiential learning at Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB).

With over 25 years of establishment and development, ACB consistently asserts themselves as one of the leading banks in Viet Nam. During the field trip at ACB, learners at HCMCOU have been shared valuable lessons about the workforce, positions as well as internship opportunities, recruitment and career development at ACB from ACB’s managers.

Specially, in this field trip, they also had an interesting experience to visit the Learning Hub which is well-equipped with a full range of function rooms such as Lab, testing laboratories, Meeting room, Simulation room, Conference room and Auditorium, etc. so as to meet different learning styles – where have trained the talented staffs of ACB.

The program was successful thanks to its practicality, learners are able to gain real-life experience and are possible to visualize the work nature, their own positions after graduation when start working for a bank. Thus, this field trip had improved learners’ motivation for learning so as to achieve all necessary expertise to be a future Banker.
