From 30^th November to 2^nd December, 2021, via online platform, Ho Chi Minh City Open University (HCMCOU) welcomed The International Education Quality Accreditation Delegation FIBAA - Swiss Government quality assurance organization.

FIBBA Expert panel for the programme accreditation of: (1) Master of Accounting, (2) Bachelor of Auditing, (3) Bachelor of Economics, (4) Bachelor of Business Administration.

The delegation conducted a site visit to HCMCOU to interview Faculties Leaders, Academic Director of disciplines, involved parties such as learners, lecturers, service staff to find out how they are tended, HCMCOU’s teaching organization and learners’ satisfaction. Thereby, the FIBAA International Accreditation Delegation highly appreciated the teaching activities of the University in recent years.

The delegation examined records, interviewed leaders of faculties, academic director of disciplines, involved parties such as learners, lecturers, service staffs to find out how they are tended, HCMCOU’s teaching organization and learners’ satisfaction. Thereby, the FIBAA International Accreditation Team highly appreciated the teaching activities of the school in recent years.

Previously, 4 Master's Degree Programs of Ho Chi Minh City Open University were awarded the certificate of Education Quality Accreditation by FIBAA, including Economics, Banking and Finance, Business Administration and Theory and Methodology of English Language Teaching.

FIBAA's set of accreditation standards will be a solid basis for Ho Chi Minh City Open University to focus on the training program's objectives, international orientation, quality improvement of training programs, human resources in education and student service, ensuring the quality of education in accordance with international integration standards.
