On the afternoon of March 1, 2022, at Hall 704, campus 35 - 37 Ho Hao Hon, Ho Chi Minh City Open University and HCMC FSI Technology Development and Trading Investment Joint Stock Company signed a cooperation agreement, discussed and reached a united decision on a number of cooperative principles on the basis of promoting the capabilities and strengths of each party, free access to, and shared use of facilities, people, expertise in training skilled labor force, meeting the practical needs of both sides. Accordingly, the cooperation agreement aims to improve the practical training and develop comprehensively high-quality human resources. In addition, the 02 units simultaneously enhance the University’s training programs as well as improve the operational efficiencies of FSI company.

Attending the signing ceremony, from FSI, there were Mr. Bui Ngoc Binh - Deputy Director of FSI HCM; Ms. Tran Huynh Thuy Tien – Representative of Human Resources Department, Ms. Tran Le Y Nhi – Board Secretary; On the side of Ho Chi Minh City Open University, in the presence of: Dr. Le Nguyen Quoc Khang - Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Open University; Assoc. Dr. Le Thanh Tung - Vice Dean of Faculty of Economics and Public Management, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh - Head of Department of Student Affairs, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dieu Linh - Deputy Head of Department of Student Affairs.

Towards sustainable development, stemming from the school's core value of promoting teaching and research to meet the requirements arising from reality, in addition with the motto of multidisciplinary training following application-oriented approach, HCMCOU has constantly strengthened cooperation and university-businesses linkage, effectively deployed cooperation contents with enterprises to create a dynamic environment for learners to practice, accumulate experience and confidently enter the workforce after graduation.

After 31 years of establishment and development, the university has provided the society with thousands of bachelors, engineers, masters and doctorates who are high-quality human resources to meet international integration and the fourth industrial revolution. The signing marks a significant development in relations between Ho Chi Minh City Open University and HCMC FSI Technology Development and Trading Investment Joint Stock Company, which is expected to strengthen the partnership and mutual support in the operation and development process, and at the same time aim to solve practical problems within the framework of cooperation content, contributing to countries' sustainable socio economic development.
