Recently, Ho Chi Minh City Open University was proud to announce that its 04 training programs have been acknowledged by the ASEAN University Network - Quality Assurance, AUN-QA.
AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network - Quality Assurance) is a set of standards with strict quality rules, specific and clear criteria, focusing on comprehensive assessment of training programs on many aspects such as output standards, curriculum, lecturers, facilities, quality assurance, connection between schools, students, and businesses to ensure the quality of the entire training program.
Accordingly, 4 training programs were under the assessment following the AUN-QA’s quality standards in December/2021 including Bachelor of Accounting; Bachelor of Computer Science; Bachelor of English Language and Bachelor of Banking and Finance. The assessment was conducted virtually by AUN-QA Quality Officers from prestigious Universities in Southeast Asia including: University of Surabaya (Indonesia), De La Salle University , University of the Philippines and Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines), Mahidol University, Prince of Songla University and Srinakharinwirot University (Thailand) to form surveys related to the School facilities, followed by the interviews with the administrators, faculty leaders, students, alumni, staffs and others. After the evaluation process, ultimately, the ASEAN University Network - Quality Assurance has presented the certificates to 04 HCMCOU’s training programs mentioned above for successfully completing the AUN-QA programme assessments.
Previously, 4 Master's programs of Ho Chi Minh City Open University were awarded the certificate of Education Quality Accreditation by FIBAA and 04 Undergraduate programs were recognised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training (MOET)./.
