On the morning of June 2, 2022, the Ho Chi Minh City Open University was honored to hold a re-signing ceremony for the second time with the British Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with the goal is to jointly develop and enhance training quality upon their strengths, expand career orientation for students, technology transition, exchange and provide information, free access to services of the two sides.

On behalf of the British Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA): Ms. Nguyen Thuy Minh Chau – ACCA Vietnam Representative; Mr. Tran Tan Phat – ACCA permanent member – Audit Director at Crowe Vietnam Co., Ltd; Ms. Tran Duy Cung My – Head of Marketing & Planning Division - Mainland Southeast Asia at ACCA; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau - Senior Head of External Affairs - Education and Training Division; Ms. Hoang Vu Ngoc Oanh - Head of Business Development Department; Ms. Pham Thi Thu Ha – External Affairs Specialist – Education and Training Division.
On behalf of the Ho Chi Minh City Open University, there witnessed the presence of: Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha – President; Dr. Le Thai Tuong Quan – Head of Office of Cooperation and Research Management; Dr. Ho Huu Thuy – Dean of Faculty of Accounting and Auditing; MSc. Tran Tuyet Thanh - Vice Dean of the Accounting - Auditing Faculty and lecturers who are currently working at the Faculty.
Previously, HCMCOU and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) signed the first cooperation agreement on October 5, 2016. After more than 6 years of companionship and development, the two sides have continued to cooperate with the following contents:
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha expressed his deepest thanks to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for their trust and support in developing human resources for the society. Prof. Ha also shared about the HCMCOU’s development plan and its application-oriented approach to equip students with practical experience while at school in order to meet the job eligibility in the labor market.
