The MoU takes place on June 27 at the Vietnam - Hungary Education Cooperation Forum, within the framework of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue’s official visit to Hungary.

The Vietnam - Hungary Education Cooperation Forum was held at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, during which some presentations between the two sides’ universities were exchanged, such as: Digital transformation in higher education; pharmaceuticals cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary; promoting international cooperation in Hungarian universities and many other topics.

At the forum of 9 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), there witnessed the presence of the National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and leaders of Vietnamese and Hungarian ministries, agencies and departments of the two countries.

Along with Ho Chi Minh City Open University, Universities signing the MOU at the forum include: Vietnam National University, Hanoi with Eotvos Lorand University, University of Szeged; Hanoi University of Technology and Obuda University; National Economics University and Obuda University; University of Mining and Geology and Obuda University; Ho Chi Minh University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Semmelweis University; Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Eötvös Loránd University; National Economics University and Eötvös Loránd University.
