Addressing the conference, Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha, President of Ho Chi Minh City Open University, shared, "The harsh climate change and frequent natural disasters, such as the floods in Pakistan in 2022, droughts in Africa in 2022, or wildfires in Hawaii, have made sustainable development a highly relevant and critically important topic in recent years. This conference focuses on exchanging ideas related to the necessity of sustainable development in various aspects, including economic, financial, accounting, and management. Sustainable development in economics, finance, accounting, and management is essential to ensure long-term development without causing harm to the environment, resources, and society. This requires the integration of economic, environmental, and social elements in decision-making and the effective operation of financial and accounting systems. More than 70 scientific papers have been submitted to the organizers from various fields. These papers reflect the rich diversity of research interests among scholars worldwide, especially in the face of increasingly extreme climate change."
