Over 300 job opportunities for Ho Chi Minh City Open University students at Japan Job Fair 2024.

With the desire to connect, provide job and internship opportunities at Japanese enterprises for students, on the morning of June 1st, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City Open University collaborated with 11 Japanese enterprises to organize the "Japan Job Fair 2024" at 97 Vo Van Tan, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

The fair is an opportunity for learners to access and receive useful advice on career opportunities, grasp suitable job positions for their majors, and understand the requirements of businesses for each position, thereby enabling them to cultivate and develop themselves.

The Japan Job Fair 2024 attracted a large number of student participants.

Attending the program from Ho Chi Minh City Open University: Dr. Le Nguyen Quoc Khang - Vice President, along with teachers and staff who are leaders of units, lecturers, and students of the university. From the enterprises, there were the participation of Mr. Mitsuishi Koji - Global Operations Director of CAMCOM Group, Mr. Oyama Yasuhiro - Global Operations Director of CAMCOM Group, Mr. Kobayashi Yoshihiko - Director of Tagger Travel Co., Ltd.

In the opening speech, Dr. Le Nguyen Quoc Khang - Vice President, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Japanese enterprises for their effective collaboration with the university in organizing the "Japan Job Fair 2024". In recent years, the university has continuously and actively connected with agencies and enterprises to create opportunities and a good working environment for students. Accordingly, the university hopes that the support, connection, and cooperation will continue to be maintained by Japanese enterprises in the coming time to improve the quality of training programs in line with practical needs, meeting the demand for high-quality human resources in this field.

On behalf of the enterprises, Mr. Mitsuishi Koji - Global Operations Director of CAMCOM Group, said that the enterprise is looking for talented and outstanding personnel to work in Vietnam and Japan. With solid expertise in the applied field, Japanese language proficiency at N2 level, and confident and fluent communication skills, candidates can enhance their competitiveness in the current labor market.

Coming to the fair, students had the opportunity to learn more about the culture, cuisine, working environment, as well as the country and people of Japan through promotional booths, recruitment, and special cuisine.

Le Yen Nhi, a student at Ho Chi Minh City Open University, shared: "At this year's Japan Job Fair, I was able to interact and learn about many professions related to Japanese language - my major, which helped me better understand the needs and criteria set by recruiters. Through the program, I hope to find a job suitable for my abilities, thereby improving my Japanese language skills and work experience."

Mr. Vu Duc Trien, an external relations officer of CAMCOM Group, said: "This is the second year I have participated in the Japan Job Fair, and the students of Ho Chi Minh City Open University are always dynamic and enthusiastic. They not only prepare thoroughly in terms of professional knowledge but also show a deep interest in Japanese culture and working style. The enthusiasm and learning spirit of the students always leave a strong impression on me. This job fair is truly a useful bridge between students and enterprises, bringing valuable opportunities for both sides."

After more than 15 years of organization, the university's job fair has become a bridge between the university - learners - employers, providing two-way information to support enterprises, learners, and the university in improving the training process to be closer to reality. The fair is also an affirmation of the quality of the university's human resources in meeting the needs of foreign enterprises, including Japanese enterprises.
