On the morning of July 28th, at the 97 Vo Van Tan campus, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, in collaboration with 25 reputable businesses from various fields, organized the "2024 Job Fair", attracting nearly 700 students.

HCMC OU Job Fair is an annual event organized by Ho Chi Minh City Open University for many years with the participation of over 750 businesses. The job fair is a positive bridge between the University - Employers - Learners, aiming to introduce job, internship, and apprenticeship opportunities to students, as well as a place for businesses to find suitable positions in various fields.

The event was attended by Dr. Le Nguyen Quoc Khang - Vice President of the University, leaders of units, representatives of 25 businesses, and a large number of students interested in the fair.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Le Nguyen Quoc Khang - Vice President of the University shared, "Ho Chi Minh City Open University identifies diversified cooperation with businesses in career guidance and job placement as a concrete contribution to realizing the university's vision of training that is closely linked to practice, creating an environment for learners to experience and practice while still in school. In 28 times of organization over the past 16 years, the Fair has received the participation of over 750 businesses, and thousands of learners have found part-time jobs through this event.With gratitude for the companionship, attachment, and trust of the business community, the University always strives to achieve the best training results, meeting the needs of the labor market."

At the fair, over 1,000 recruitment positions in economics, business, finance, trade, foreign languages, and technology from 25 businesses that directly recruited and 85 businesses that recruited online on job portals such as Saigon Co-op,Sacombank, HDBank, AEON, McDonald's, Family Mart, Ministop, FPT-Telecom, CareerViet... are consulted and informed to candidates. Besides career counseling activities, the fair also featured many exciting activities such as lucky draws, games at business booths.

Joining the dynamic and excited atmosphere, Ms. Nhu Quynh - a 3rd-year learner of International Business shared, for me, the job fair brings a very beneficial experience. By meeting and talking directly with recruiters, I can better understand the requirements and expectations of companies, thereby adjusting and improving my skills and better preparing for future work.
