On September 9th, 2024, at Hall 202, 35-37 Ho Hao Hon Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City Open University held a ceremony to award FIBAA accreditation certificates to four advanced undergraduate programs: Accounting, Business Law, Business Administration, and Finance - Banking.

Present at the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha - President, Dr. Le Xuan Truong - Vice President, Dr. Le Nguyen Quoc Khang - Vice President, along with leaders of departments, centers, and staff of the University.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha expressed his pride in the achievements of the faculties and congratulated all staff, lecturers, and students who contributed to this success.

"Achieving FIBAA accreditation is a great honor. We have faced many challenges, especially in ensuring both the quantity and quality of input, while maintaining sufficient financial resources to continue investing in learner output quality. This is truly a difficult issue, requiring all of us to be creative, flexible, and committed to continuously improving the quality of education," shared Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha.

On behalf of the faculties, Dr. Ho Huu Thuy - Head of the Accounting - Auditing Department, expressed sincere thanks to the University's Board of Directors for their timely and valuable guidance, and to all leaders and lecturers of the University's units for their cooperation and continuous efforts towards the common goal.

Dr. Ho Huu Thuy - Head of the Accounting - Auditing Department, said, "With our experience in the accreditation process of training programs, we understand that referring to and applying international standards, combined with regularly surveying the practical needs of former students and satisfaction with the program from employers, is a key factor for faculties to adjust their training programs to meet the ever-growing needs of the labor market."

The FIBAA certificate not only affirms the prestige and quality of the University's training but also serves as a stepping stone for the University to continue innovating, improving the quality of teaching and training, and aiming for long-term strategic goals to meet the increasing demands of society and international integration.
