On the afternoon of October 4, 2024, at Hall 602, 97 Vo Van Tan Campus, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City Open University welcomes international learners from Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar to participate in the "Orientation Week" for the academic year 2024-2025. This is an opportunity for learners to exchange, study and get to know the learning environment at Ho Chi Minh City Open University, Vietnam.

Overview of the event

The orientation week took place with many useful activities, from learning about the rules, university culture, graduation conditions, to introducing a variety of extracurricular activities from Youth Union – Student Association, Club – Team, as well as guiding contact methods to answer questions throughout the studying process here. Especially, international learners have had the opportunity to interact and connect with Vietnamese learners, opening up chances to promote international exchange – cultural exchange afterwards.

Moreover, the international learners think that Vietnamese learners from sophomores to seniors are very friendly, helping foreign learners like them feel easier to blend in the new environment.
