- The faculty of economics and public management was founded in 2007 by dividing the faculty of economics – business administration to be the faculty of economics and faculty of business administration.

- In 2010, the faculty of economics was changed to be th faculty of economics and law to be corresponding with 2 major of the faculty which are economics and economic law.

In October 2015, the faculty of economics and law was separated to 2 faculties which are faculty of economics and public management and faculty of economic law.
